The Red Sox Started Putting Names On Road Jerseys In 1990.  They Used Nameplates From 1990 Through The 2008 Season.  In All Other Years, The Letters Were Directly Sewn Onto The Jersey.  In 2009, The Red Sox Introduced The Alternate Road Blue Jersey.  This Jersey Also Had A Name On The Back.  There Was Never A Nameplate Used With This Jersey.
