The Legacy Collection
Built around the details that define an era.
Legacy takes the Core Collection's foundation and adds the layer that only certain teams earn: championship patches. The same five layouts, framed alongside the hardware that defines a dynasty.
Five Layouts, With Championships
The same five foundational layouts as Core — extended to include championship patches. Patch count is configurable to match the team's history.
Nameplate / Name + Patches
The classic Core Layout 1, with championship patches included. A nameplate is a separate piece of jersey material with the letters stitched on; a name is stitched directly onto the jersey. Patches are matted alongside the nameplate or name in the same finished frame.
Nameplate: hockey, football, historical baseball. Name: basketball, current baseball.
Nameplate / Name + Shoulder Number + Patches
The Core Shoulder Number layout, with championship patches added. The shoulder number — stitched on the upper sleeve or chest, not the back — anchors the piece to a specific era. The patches anchor it to the result of that era.
Primarily hockey and football.
Nameplate + Full Number — Split + Patches
The Split layout's signature move — accentuating the rugged stitched edge of the nameplate against a contrasting background — extended to include championship patches. Three pieces, each framed to its own emphasis: nameplate edge, full number, and the patches that complete the story.
A nameplate-format layout. Name products use Combined instead.
Nameplate / Name + Full Number — Combined + Patches
The Combined layout — nameplate or name above the full number, edges blending into a continuous section of jersey — with championship patches arranged below. The closest format to seeing the actual jersey on display, with the full record of what the jersey produced.
Works with both nameplate and name formats.
Full-Size Number Only + Patches
The Number Only layout — bold, focused, unmistakable — with championship patches set beneath. For numbers that already say everything, paired with the hardware that says the rest.
Presentation varies by sport: baseball uses a circle (referencing how teams display retired numbers in the stadium). Hockey, basketball, and football use a square or rectangle.Three Tiers
Every Legacy piece is offered in the same three tiers as Core. The layout and patch count don't change between tiers — the materials and matting do.

"I was looking for something different to give my groomsmen. We were all big sports fans, but framed jerseys were expensive, bulky, and most of us didn't have the wall space. So I started thinking about what was actually worth displaying — and built around that."— Founder, Caveman Collections
Questions
How is Legacy different from Core?
Legacy is built on the same five layouts as Core — same materials, same craft, same three tiers. The difference is the championship patches. Legacy is the format for teams (and eras) with championship history, where the patches are part of what makes the piece worth framing.
How do I choose which championships are featured?
Patch selection is configured inside the product page. You can include every championship a team has won, or a specific subset — for example, just the championships from a particular era or under a particular roster. Patch count is selected before checkout.
Can I include fewer patches than the team has won?
Yes. Patch count is configured per order to match whichever championships you want featured. The number available varies by team — based on how many championships they've actually won — and the selection is made inside the product page.
Are the patches reproductions?
Patches are sourced to match the look of the originals used on the actual championship jerseys. Sourcing varies by sport and era; the goal in every case is a patch that looks correct alongside the rest of the display.
What if my team doesn't have championship history?
Then the Core Collection is the format. Legacy is built around championship patches, so it only applies to teams with championships to feature. Core is the foundational format and stands on its own — championships aren't required for a display to be worth framing.
How long does it take?
Typical turnaround is 8 to 10 weeks from order to delivery. Patch sourcing is part of why the Legacy build takes the time it does — every patch is selected and mounted as part of the piece, not added afterward.
