Clean. Minimal. Essential.

The Core Collection

Built around the details that define an era.

Each piece is designed to reflect the structure, spacing, and visual identity of the jersey it represents — translated into a clean, framed display.

Five Layouts

Every team in the Core Collection is offered in five foundational layouts. Each one isolates a different signature element of the jersey.

Nameplate layout — framed jersey nameplate Name layout — framed jersey name section

Nameplate / Name

The classic. The nameplate or name, framed alone. Two formats based on how the jersey is built: a nameplate is a separate piece of jersey material — letters stitched onto a rectangle or arch, then attached — with a visible rugged edge that becomes part of the display. A name is stitched directly onto the jersey itself, with no separate piece.

Nameplate: hockey, football, historical baseball. Name: basketball, current baseball.
Nameplate with shoulder number layout

Nameplate / Name + Shoulder Number

The nameplate or name paired with the smaller shoulder number — the number stitched on the upper sleeve or chest, not the back. A secondary identity marker that anchors the display to a specific era and roster spot.

Primarily hockey and football. Limited baseball applications.
Nameplate and full number Split layout

Nameplate + Full Number — Split

Nameplate and full-size back number, mounted as separate elements against a contrasting background. The point of the Split layout is the nameplate edge: the rugged, stitched border of the fabric piece is intentionally accentuated, treated as part of the craft rather than hidden.

A nameplate-format layout. Name products don't benefit — there's no edge to feature.
Nameplate and full number Combined layout

Nameplate / Name + Full Number — Combined

Nameplate (or name) above the full-size number, mounted together so the bottom edge of the nameplate blends into the matting behind the number. The result reads as a continuous section of jersey — closer to seeing the jersey itself than seeing its individual pieces.

Sacrifices edge-emphasis for jersey-echo. Works with both nameplate and name formats.
Full-size number only layout

Full-Size Number Only

Just the number off the jersey. Bold, focused, unmistakable — the layout for a number that already says everything that needs saying.

Presentation varies by sport: baseball uses a circle (referencing how teams display retired numbers in the stadium). Hockey, basketball, and football use a square or rectangle.

Three Tiers

Every Core piece is offered in three finish tiers. The layout doesn't change — the materials and matting do.

Essential

Included

The base build. Clean, focused, and complete on its own — nothing in the display works against the jersey.

Signature

+ $42

Enhanced matting and finish. A step up in depth and material quality without changing the layout's intent.

Premier

+ $84

The most complete build. Most refined materials and the most considered finish across the entire piece.

Made to Order

Every Core display is built individually. Nothing on the wall was made before the order came in.

8–10 Weeks, Order to Delivery

Typical turnaround from order placement to the piece arriving at your door.

1:1 Built Per Order

No pre-built inventory. Each display is sourced, mounted, and framed for its specific order.

5 Layouts, One Format

The same considered approach across every layout. Different angles on the same jersey.

"I was looking for something different to give my groomsmen. We were all big sports fans, but framed jerseys were expensive, bulky, and most of us didn't have the wall space. So I started thinking about what was actually worth displaying — and built around that."

Questions

What's the difference between a nameplate and a name?

A nameplate is a separate piece of jersey material — usually a rectangle or arch — with the letters stitched on, then sewn onto the jersey. The visible edge of that piece is part of the display. A name is stitched directly onto the jersey itself, with no separate piece. The format depends on the team and the era. Hockey and football use nameplates. Basketball uses names. Baseball uses both depending on era.

Can I choose home, away, or alternate?

Yes. Every Core product is configured inside the product page — home, away, alternate, and (where applicable) jersey era are selected before checkout. The five layouts apply to whichever jersey you choose.

What's included at each tier?

The layout is the same across all three tiers — Essential, Signature, and Premier. What changes is the materials and finish work: matting depth, mat composition, and the level of detail in the final framing. Essential is the base build. Signature adds enhanced materials. Premier is the most complete build.

How long does it take?

Typical turnaround is 8 to 10 weeks from order to delivery. Every piece is made to order, which means sourcing the right jersey material, mounting it, and finishing the frame — none of which happens before the order is placed.

Can I add championship patches?

Championship patches sit in the Legacy Collection, not Core. Core focuses on the foundational identity of the jersey itself — name, number, and the way they're presented. If a team you're looking at has championship history and you want patches included, look for the Legacy version of the same team.
